Just a Normal Bloke
A Generation X Memoir.
Before the historical novels came a life of his own to tell. Just a Normal Bloke follows Darren through childhood, the Sea Cadets, Royal Navy training and service, and the years that followed.
Work, family, loss and the moments that stay with us shape this personal account of an ordinary British life.
Written with future generations in mind, it preserves the stories behind the author of Ordinary Men at War.
